Esther Osei-Bonsu

My name is Esther Osei-Bonsu, and I have been very happily married to my husband Francis Osei-Bonsu for the past 21 years. We have four children: Nana Yaw (20), Edmund (19), Francis JR (9), and Maryanne (9).

I began working with children in 2001 in my birth country of Ghana, West Africa at a child-care center called D & D KIDDIE KARE. I started as a caregiver in an infant classroom, was later promoted to lead teacher in a preschool classroom, and eventually participated in a six-month exchange program at the University of Wisconsin Children's Center, where I completed studies and on-the-job training.

After returning to Ghana, I was promoted to Director at D & D KIDDIE KARE, serving for seven years before relocating to the United States. In the US, I worked at the Learning Experience Child Care Center. With my experience and love for children, I eventually started my own family daycare and am now expanding into a large group daycare in 2025.
